ON THE ROCKS PLEASE


Originally formed as "Late Night Love Explosion" to play our favorite covers from bands like Junkyard,  Jackyl, 

 Faster Pussycat,  Dirty Looks ! and a few others.  You know... To blow off some steam.   Alot of steam later,  MM

are very serious about they're own material.  Meeting only on friday nights to do what they do in the studio they record in.


Not so much a "band practice" but rather a  LOUD !   anything can happen kind of  Lodge Meeting.


WHY ONLY EP RELEASES ?


Think of us as a Fighter.. who gets in and does his best to knock you out fast. We do not want to bore the piss out of

anyone by expecting them " YOU " to sit and listen to ten or more songs that may or may not all be up to " OUR " standards. 

We have much material in various states of record thus allowing for many more EP like releases.


Just like our live show.. we do our best to leave you wanting more.


 BLISS IN IGNORANCE ? WHAT A CONCEPT !


Hard rock developed into a major form of popular music in the 1970s, with bands such as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Aerosmith,

AC/DC, and Van Halen, and reached a commercial peak in the mid to late 1980s. The glam metal of bands like Bon Jovi and

Def Leppard and the rawer sounds of Guns N' Roses followed up with great success in the later part of that decade.

All then was lost in the face of grunge.


Despite this, many post-grunge bands adopted a hard rock sound and in the 2000s there came a renewed interest in

established bands, attempts at a revival, and new hard rock bands that emerged from the

garage rock and post-punk revival scenes.


Meat Monster is the only band on earth completely unaware that anything ever changed..
